The Twin Cities Juneteenth Underground Railroad Re-Enactment:
Departs from Phyllis Wheatley Community Center on Friday June 10th, 2016 @ 7pm, and returns on Saturday, June 11th, 2016 at 9am. Take a journey through time and experience the perils, trials and dangers on the road to freedom.

The Twin Cities Juneteenth Festival Partners with the MLK Tennis Buffs & USTA:
Providing free paddling in the Mississippi River during the Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The MLK Tennis Buffs and USTA Northern: Offers interactive tennis participation with youth who will be able to play at the Juneteenth Festival and win prizes. All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome!

Continental Breakfast:
Join us from 8am to 9am on June 18th, 2016 for the free Juneteenth Continental Breakfast at the North Mississippi Regional Park near the pavilion. Get a good meal on a first come, first serve basis and get excited about the festival." "Library Storytelling: Check out your local Hennepin County library for related Juneteenth events. Books will be placed out so you can learn about the Juneteenth history.

Storytellers:
Including Naomi Richmond - will bring Juneteenth alive at the Juneteenth Festival. Register early so you will be guaranteed a seat.
